Wrappin' It Up

I thought I'd better post our Christmas break pictures before next Christmas break. At the rate I'm going, I'll be mailing our "New Years" card out by Valentine's Day...

We got plastered with snow the week before Christmas. Which made for a white Christmas, but also a curiously large amount of yellow snow in the backyard (we'll blame the dog).

Because of the angle at which our house sits, the gale force winds blew the snow into huge drifts in the front of our house.

My kids version of "shut-in syndrome." Oh yes, they cleaned it all up!

Some pre-Christmas craft time with friends and cousins.

Christmas Eve dinner with the Reynolds and Grandma and Grandpa Sundwall.

Nativity time. Tucker the Magi riding on Donkey Dale.

Baby Talmage made the perfect baby Jesus. He's such a quiet little guy!

Jammie time. I love this tradition.

Christmas morning and the stocking routine.

Kalli got two Baby Alives for Christmas. She kept them both so that they wouldn't be lonely.

Tucker chillin' on the kitchen floor.

Interjection: my Christmas Day pictures are lame-o due to the fact that I got hit hard with a nasty sinus infection and don't honestly remember much.

Sledding with Kate's friend at Kite Hill during the break.

A few days after Christmas, Sean and I took the kids to a cabin near White Pass. The snow was primo and the acommodations were cozy.

Sean carved a great S-curved sledding run out of the hill behind our cabin. The kids spent hours wearing themselves out.

Another great hill that just happened to be close by.

Kalli's face usually says it all. Especially the mouth part of her face.

Tuck and Kalli had some fun on the roof of a maintenance shed. Cuz hey, what could be more fun than a maintenance shed?

Man, did it snow HARD!

Our cabin was smaller than our master bedroom at home, but worked great for all the games we played.

Isn't this a great little tree? It reminded me of why I dropped out of basketball in 7th grade. A dwarf among giants. :)

And in closing, I just had to show you what our cat Lincoln looks like when he's ticked off.
And here's why...
My kids got Lincoln a shirt for Christmas. Who the heck dresses a cat?!

It's almost like I was there! Almost. Love you all so much. Glad you had fun Christmas. My kids are begging us to take them to a cabin for that very reason!

Who dresses a cat? you ask.... those crazy kids of yours cousins that live in Texas. Our poor cat has strutted around in more 'build-a-bear' outfits than I can count!!!! btw- they fit perfectly :) I suppose that is why our kids get along so well! Good Times...

Okay, after reading your blog, I am feeling like being a little honest. Usually when I log into people's blogs and see they have posted a long entry I skim it, laugh, then comment. When I read yours I hang on every word. You really need to write a book. Then maybe you won't have time to write on here and make my blog entries look like crap!! I love you and miss your cute family. I can't wait to see you in 1 WEEK!!!
